Ingredients

Scale

Chicken & Seasoning:

  • 2 lbs chicken tenders (or thighs/breasts), cut into 3-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1½ tbsp dry ranch seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Garlic Parmesan Butter Sauce:

  • 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter
  • 810 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • ⅓ cup fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 tbsp dry ranch seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Other:

  • Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: In a large bowl, combine all the chicken seasonings. Add the chicken pieces along with the olive oil and toss everything together until the chicken is thoroughly coated with the seasoning mixture. Thread the seasoned chicken pieces tightly onto the soaked wooden skewers, ensuring they are secure for even cooking.
  2. Make Garlic Parmesan Sauce: Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat or in the microwave. Add the minced garlic and cook briefly until fragrant. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, hot sauce, red pepper flakes, fresh parsley, dry ranch seasoning, dried dill, and onion powder. Whisk the mixture until well combined. Reserve two-thirds of the sauce for finishing and basting, and set aside one-third to use during cooking.
  3. Cook (Air Fryer Method): Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. Place 2-3 skewers in the basket and cook for 5 minutes. Flip the skewers, baste with some of the sauce, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Flip again, baste once more, and cook for another 5 to 6 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Once done, generously brush the skewers with the reserved garlic butter sauce and sprinkle with extra Parmesan cheese before serving.
  4. Alternate Oven Method: Preheat your oven to 450°F. Place the skewers on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake for 14 minutes, flipping and basting with the sauce halfway through. At the end, broil the skewers for 2 minutes to get a nice golden finish. Finish with the reserved garlic parmesan sauce and additional Parmesan cheese.
  5. Alternate Grill Method: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for 5–6 minutes per side, basting continuously with the garlic parmesan butter sauce as they cook. Once cooked through, drizzle with the reserved sauce and sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • Soaking wooden skewers prevents them from burning during cooking.
  • Adjust the amount of hot sauce and red pepper flakes to control the spice level.
  • Chicken thighs can be used instead of tenders for juicier results.
  • Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F for safe consumption.
  • Leftover sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and warmed before use.
