Creamy Keto Jello Whips is a delightful low-carb dessert that combines sugar-free gelatin with rich whipped cream and a keto-friendly sweetener. This easy-to-make treat is perfect for those following a ketogenic or low-carb diet, offering a light, fluffy texture and a variety of flavor options from popular sugar-free Jello brands.

Ingredients

Scale

Gelatin Mixture

  • 1 package Sugar-Free Jello, any flavor (Jell-O, Royal, GramZero, or Starburst brand)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup ice water (if using Jell-O, Royal, Starburst; omit for GramZero, use cold water instead)

Whipped Cream Mixture

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons Swerve Confectioners (or preferred keto-friendly sweetener)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve Jello: In a medium bowl, stir the sugar-free Jello powder into 1 cup of boiling water until completely dissolved, ensuring no granules remain.
  2. Prepare Ice Water: Fill a 1-cup measure with ice and then add cold water to fill the rest of the cup. If using GramZero brand Jello, skip the ice and use 1 cup cold water instead.
  3. Cool Jello Mixture: Stir the ice water (or cold water for GramZero) into the dissolved Jello, continuing to stir until the mixture cools and the ice is nearly melted. Remove any remaining ice cubes. The Jello will begin to soft set during this cooling step.
  4. Whip Cream and Sweetener: In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to whip the heavy whipping cream and Swerve Confectioners together until stiff peaks form, indicating a light and fluffy texture.
  5. Combine Jello and Whipped Cream: Using the electric mixer on low speed, carefully whip the softened Jello mixture into the whipped cream until fully combined and smooth.
  6. Chill and Set: Pour the creamy Jello whip mixture into 4 custard cups or one medium-sized bowl. Refrigerate for 2 hours until set and chilled.

Notes

  • You can use any sugar-free Jello flavor from brands like Jell-O, Royal, GramZero, or Starburst depending on availability and taste preference.
  • If using GramZero naturally sweetened Jello, avoid using ice water; use cold water instead to maintain the best texture and sweetness.
  • Swerve Confectioners is a keto-friendly sweetener but can be substituted with another preferred low-carb sweetener in powdered form.
  • This dessert is best served chilled and must be refrigerated for 2 hours to fully set.
  • The recipe yields approximately 4 individual servings or 2 larger servings if served in bigger bowls.
