Ingredients

Scale

Eggs

  • 68 hard-boiled eggs, peeled

Spicy Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 1 stick unsalted butter (about 113g)
  • 1/4 cup sliced onions
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Boil Eggs: Place the eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a rolling boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 9-12 minutes. Remove and place eggs in cold water to cool. Peel and set aside.
  2. Melt Butter: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the stick of unsalted butter gently until fully liquefied.
  3. Sauté Onions: Add sliced onions to the melted butter and cook until they become soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add Garlic and Seasonings: Stir in minced garlic and garlic paste, then add the Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes to release their aromas.
  5. Simmer with Broth: Pour in the vegetable broth and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Allow it to cook for 5 minutes to blend the flavors well.
  6. Combine and Serve: Place the peeled boiled eggs in a serving bowl and pour the hot spicy garlic butter sauce evenly over them. The eggs can be served warm or chilled, depending on preference.

Notes
